What are Crinkle Washers?

Crinkle Washers are a pre-loading and spacing component designed to provide multiple points of contact for increased stability.

Accu also stock similar products such as Wave Washers. Crinkle Washers and Wave Washers are often used almost interchangeably, but Wave Washers are generally used as springs, whereas Crinkle Washers are used for spacing.

Crinkle Washer Materials

All of Accu's Crinkle Washers are manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel, and comply with DIN Standard BS4463. Additional materials and sizes are available on request.

Crinkle Washer Sizing

Crinkle Washers are available in thread diameters from M1.6 to M20, washer thicknesses from 0.16mm to 0.70mm, and uncompressed heights between 0.51mm and 2.66mm.
