Featuring a nylon insert which grips around the threads of a fastener to help resist self loosening, the serrated flange of this locking nut provides additional grip by biting into the surface of the material.

Another advantage to the integrated flange of this component is that it provides greater load-bearing capabilities than a standard Hexagon Nylon Locking Nut, whilst negating the need for a separate washer.

A Non-Serrated Flange Nyloc Nut is also available, featuring a smooth flange which is free from serrations, making it a more practical option when the mating surface must not be scratched, i.e. for aesthetic purposes.

For applications where a flange nut without a nylon insert is needed, Accu’s range of Flanged Hexagon Nuts can be used, with both metric and imperial sizes in stock.
