Accu’s SmartSearch lets you find components by product code, manufacturing standard, type, size, material or finish across more than 750,000 listed precision components. If what you need is not in our standard range, Accu’s Custom Manufacture service can produce bespoke parts to your specification.

Searching for Components.

Q: How do I find a component using an Accu Product Code?

A: Type the Accu Product Code (APC) directly into the search bar. For example, searching SSC-M3-20-A2 returns the matching component listing along with any additional finishes available for that base part, such as AccuBlack or AccuLock variants.

Q: How do I find components by manufacturing standard?

A: Type the DIN or ISO number directly into the search bar to see all components conforming to that standard. For example, searching DIN 931 returns every component manufactured to that specification.

Q: How do I search by type, size, material or finish?

A: Use the SmartSearch bar at the top of the online store and describe what you need in natural language. For example, searching M6 black stainless steel countersunk screw returns all matching components. You can combine type, size, material and finish in a single query, as well as manufacturing standard.

Q: Does Accu have a product catalogue?

A: Our website is Accu’s catalogue, with the full range of over 750,000 precision components listed on the online store, searchable by product code, manufacturing standard, or component attributes.

Q: How do I find the dimensions of a component?

A: Full technical specifications, including dimensions and tolerances, are displayed on each component’s product page. If you have a question about a specification, use the ‘Questions’ section underneath the Technical Specification on the relevant product page and a member of our engineering team will reply to you.

Q: How do I find the weight of a component?

A: Component weights per 100 units are shown on each product listing page in the Technical Specification. We list it this way as individual component weights can vary slightly within a batch. For individual component weights, simply divide the unit weight for 100 components by 100. To see the estimated shipping weight for a full order, add your components to the component cart or click ‘Checkout Securely’ the total estimated shipment weight is displayed there.

Q: What manufacturing standards does Accu maintain?

A: Many components in the standard range are produced to established national and international standards, including DIN and ISO. Details of the applicable standard are listed on each product page. For a broader overview, see our manufacturing standards article.

Q: Does Accu offer non-standard thread types?

A: Accu stocks a wide range of metric and imperial thread types, including fine and coarse pitches, trapezoidal threads and other specialised thread styles. Left-handed and metric fine pitch components are available as standard for several ranges. If a thread type is not available as a standard component, a bespoke quotation may be possible through our Custom Manufacture process.
