Hexagon Sealing Bolts, manufactured in the USA by ZAGO, are designed to withstand extreme temperatures conditions and atmospheres, whilst forming a complete seal to protect machinery and devices from hazardous substances.

Engineered with a specialised groove on the underside of the bolt head, this fastener is fitted with a captive rubber O Ring and is designed to perform more efficiently than using a conventional Hexagon Bolt with a separate O Ring.

When the Sealing Bolt is tightened, the built-in O Ring forms a permanent hermetic seal to ensure optimal performance of sensitive equipment where oils, gases and liquids are present, preventing internal and external leakages.

Produced to Military Specifications, this type of pre-fitted O Ring Bolt is pressure tested to 1500 psi, making it ideal for applications across a wide range of markets, including Medical Devices, Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing.

Hex Sealing Bolts prevent pollutants from seeping into the housing environment and typically have an unlimited shelf-life, whilst also being reusable. As the captive O Ring is supplied pre-fitted into the purpose built groove within the head of the Bolt, this ensures simple installation with metal-to-metal contact for optimal performance of the 360° seal.

Accu also stocks a wide range of Metric Hexagon Sealing Nuts, suitable for replacing conventional Hexagon Nuts across all surface types.

Materials

Accu’s range of Hex Sealing Bolts are made from 304 Stainless Steel, otherwise known as A2 Stainless Steel.

O Ring materials include Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton (Fluorocarbon) as standard. For alternative Bolt and O Ring materials, please speak to a member of the Accu team.

Sealing Bolts can also be supplied with our pre-applied AccuLock thread locking patch, which helps prevent the risk of self loosening.

Sizes

Manufactured in accordance with the DIN 933 standard, Accu’s range of Hexagon Sealing Bolts are available in metric thread sizes M4 to M14, with lengths from 6mm to 25mm.
