This Imperial Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screw features a specialised groove on the underside of the screw head which is combined with a resilient, but malleable, captive rubber O-Ring. As a result, this high-tech fastener forms a permanent hermetic seal when tightened into the fixture, preventing exposure to toxins and contaminants.

Also commonly referred to as an O Ring Screw, Imperial Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws sit flush with the surface of the mating component when installed and help to fortify and protect machinery from damage through internal or external leaks.

Produced in the USA to Military Standards, ZAGO Sealing Screws are manufactured and pressure tested to 1500 psi. This helps to ensure reliability across a wide range of industries, from Defence and Aerospace to Marine and Electronics.

Accu’s range of Phillips Drive Bits can be used to tighten this type of Sealing Screw, or alternatively standard Phillips Screwdrivers are also compatible.

Materials

Imperial Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws are available in 304 Stainless Steel, otherwise known as A2 Stainless Steel.

The built-in O Ring is available in Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton (Fluorocarbon) as standard. For alternative Screw or O Ring materials, please contact the Accu team.

An AccuLock finish can also be pre-applied to this screw type. This is our specialist thread locking patch which helps prevent fasteners from self loosening.

Sizes

Manufactured to ANSI B18.6.3, Accu’s Imperial Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws range from No. 10 to ¼” thread diameters. Screw thread lengths are available from ¼” to 1”.
