Imperial Hexagon Sealing Nuts work by forming 360° sealing protection around the threads of the fastener and the circumference of the nut, maintaining the integrity of enclosures they are installed into. As opposed to conventional Hex Nuts, which lack adequate sealing capability, Sealing Hex Nuts prevent contaminants and toxins from seeping into the environment.

Zago Seal Nuts are commonly used to replace ordinary nuts to ensure even the most sensitive equipment is protected from hazardous substances, such as oil, water and pollutants. As these fasteners form a hermetic seal, they are suited to applications within the Marine, Medical and Food Industries.

Imperial Hexagon Sealing Nuts are designed to be a cost-effective and reusable self sealing solution, compatible with all surface types. Supplied ready to use, with no assembly required, Sealing Nuts are fitted with a captive O Ring. Being pre-installed, this affords a more user friendly and simple installation process, as well as ensuring that a higher quality and air-tight seal is created over the use of a conventional Hexagon Nut with a separate O Ring.

Materials

Accu’s range of Imperial Hex Sealing Nuts are manufactured in 304 Stainless Steel, commonly referred to as A2 Stainless Steel.

O Ring materials available include Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton (Fluorocarbon) as standard. For alternative Imperial Seal Nut and O Ring materials, please reach out to us.
