Discover more about the Non-Serrated Flanged Nylon Locking Nuts range.
Non-Serrated Flanged Nylon Locking Nuts (also called Flanged Nyloc Nuts) are a type of economic locknut fitted with a polymer insert. The elastic Nylon insert of this component fits tightly against the fastener, and is designed to resist loosening when subjected to harsh vibrations.
Unlike a regular Hexagon Nylon Locking Nut, this variant features an integrated flange which provides greater load-bearing capabilities.
Serrated Flanged Nylon Locking Nuts, which provide additional grip on the surface of the joint, are also available as an alternative to this Non-Serrated Flange Nyloc Nut.
Materials
Flanged Nylon Locking Nuts can be manufactured from both A2 and A4 (Marine Grade) Stainless Steel with a natural finish.
Metric Flange Nyloc Nuts
These components are produced to the DIN 6926 standard and are available in thread sizes of between M3 and M12, with flange diameters ranging from 7.8mm up to 26mm.
