Clutch Head Security Countersunk Wood Screws are designed to be a 1-way permanent fixing thanks to their specialised one way security drive. This means that, once installed, this type of security wood screw is intended to remain in place and cannot be easily removed.

The Clutch Head Screw Drive features a special ridged design which can only be operated in a clockwise direction. However, no specialist drive tool is required for installation as this one way security screw can be fastened using a standard (slotted) flat head screwdriver.

As with other Countersunk Wood Screws, the head of this screw is intended to sit flush with the surface of the object it is installed into. A similar component, Clutch Head Countersunk Self Tapping Screws, are also available from Accu in Stainless Steel and feature a slightly smaller Countersunk Head than our Clutch Head Countersunk Wood Screws.

Sentinel Countersunk Pozi Security Wood Screws are also available from Accu. This alternative can be installed using a standard Pozidrive Screwdriver.
